First Day of Little Flower Preschool & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
On August 6, we joyfully opened the doors to our Little Flower Preschool at Carmel Catholic High School. The classroom was filled with excitement, laughter, and the warm welcome of new beginnings. Inspired by the gentle spirit of St. Thérèse, we look forward to helping each child grow in love, learning, and faith.

Faculty Trained in Mental Health First Aid Thanks to Megan Butz Legacy of Hope
On their first day back from summer break, faculty took part in a Mental Health First Aid training, provided by Josselyn, and funded by a grant provided by Megan Butz Legacy of Hope. Megan, a 2012 graduate of Carmel Catholic, passed away in 2020.

Nonprofit Honoring Carmel Alum Meg Butz ’12 Awards $170K for Youth Mental Health
Megan Butz Legacy of Hope, a 501(c)(3) organization, recently announced it has awarded $170,000 to Chicago area not-for-profits that address mental health and suicide prevention for youth and young adults. Through these grants, Carmel Catholic has been awarded funds to expand its mental health curriculum.
